- Responsible for providing end-user IT support including portfolio of software and hardware products.
- Manages evaluation of new products, equipment ordering, and installation to increase efficiency and effectiveness of information flows.
- Keeps the infrastructure available: computers, networks, and telecommunications.
- Takes measures for the security of infrastructure and plans fall-back/recovery options.
- Conducts start-up training and ongoing user assistance.
- Works closely with users, IT management, and vendors to assure the availability and compatibility of services.
- Coordinates with website developer the technical aspects of the DTVC website set-up and maintenance to ensure the site’s availability.
- Provides standard end-user support and troubleshooting to ensure availability of support and user satisfaction
- Contributes to the development and modification of the network/system and its various components.
- Collects data, performs analysis, and suggests improvements on usage, disruptions, and problems.
- Works with Management and the Business / Service lines to update the website on an ongoing basis, providing them with advice and training on the technical aspects of content and design.
