Reporting to Manufacturing Services Team Leader, the Manufacturing Services Engineer is responsible for overseeing all predefined work instructions available to shop floor are up to date and effectively usable by related production staff.
Manufacturing Services Engineer will also support production staff for any kind of problems that become apparent as unmatched assemblies or none or low performing products. He will play a vital role to minimize possible setbacks at operations by carrying out timely improvements/corrections.
The ideal candidate should have significant analyzing skills along with strong planning, problem solving and communication skills. SAUDI nationals only.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Reads and interprets engineering drawings, work instructions and rework orders to support and contribute production activities.
• Keeps and updates the computerized Bill of Materials according to new manufacturing requirements
• Maintains configuration control system to ensure proper control of work instructions, drawings, specifications and other technical documents
• Releases work orders and change requests to support vehicle production and rework jobs based on manufacturing necessities
• Monitors and tracks the discrepant material process in parallel to Quality Department to ensure timely disposition of defective materials
• Develops manufacturing processes by studying product requirements; researching, designing, modifying, and testing manufacturing methods and equipment
• Monitors and suggests methods to improve manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning work flow, space requirements, and equipment layout.
• Supports design department for prototype works
• Able to prepare queries from ERP or equivalent system databases
• Prepares product and process reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends
• Provides manufacturing engineering information by answering questions and requests.
• Follows production schedules and plans
• Supports department manager for determination of department policies
• Participate in design reviews and suggests design changes according to customer requirements
• Follows all safety rules and regulation
