DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Monitors the production activities and prepares regular reports on progress
• Reads and interprets engineering drawings, work instructions and rework orders to support and contribute production activities.
• Coordinates with all related departments to resolve production problems, delays and shortages and disposition decisions.
• Conducts studies on re-organizing the shop floor layout, materials placement to ensure smooth and effective work flow
• Able to prepare queries from ERP or equivalent system databases
• Requests, monitors changes to manufacturing instructions, drawings, bills of materials and all other technical documents and stays current on manufacturing documents and procedures
• Ensuring that the manufacturing process is established according to the work instructions.
• Monitors and plans equipment and tooling capacity
• Maintains metrics on: equipment, tooling and manpower capacity utilization,
• Follows all safety rules and regulation
