DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reporting to Quality Control Manager the role of the Quality Control Team Leaders leads all quality related topics at AUC facility starting from Design phase until the warranty period is over. This role is responsible for the establishing quality priorities, review and analyzes records and reports of the manufacturing process, and ensure customer expectations are met any phase of the supply chain cycle. As a key member of the Quality Control team, this role will promote new statistical process control tools for proactively reducing cost of non-conformity. The ideal candidate should have significant functional, managerial and leadership experience in the provision of quality control and documentation control.
• Supports the Quality Control manager for the coordination of all departmental activities
• Monitors and enhances quality efficiency at the shop floor regularly
• Supports the Quality Control manager for introducing and updating of department policies
• Provides training, direction and performance review to direct reports
• Ensures conformance to all quality requirements
• Coordinates with purchasing, production and after sales departments
• Reviews and analyzes production, quality control and operational records and reports
• Prepares, monitors and revises quality schedules and priorities, where necessary
• Controls and coordinates receiving, line inspection and testing functions to ensure optimum work flow
• Ensures conformance of delivery schedule to contractual obligations
• Analyse and evaluates time and quality control records
• Ensures implementing of all safety rules and regulations
• Prepares periodical quality status reports
• Attends job interviews for quality department where necessary
