Role
To supervise all warehouse activities to minimize damage and maximize manpower utilization and warehouse space. To maintain accurate inventory records of all full goods, as well as all production materials.
Accountabilities
• To supervise loading and warehouse foremen in their activities.
• To plan and schedule manning, vacations and personal time. To ensure an adequate crew to handle all loading/unloading and warehousing functions.
• To prepare reports showing the number of vehicles loaded, the number of cases of Pepsi-Cola received, and the current inventory of all production materials.
• To prepare reports itemizing product spoilage or breakage during loading/unloading and in the warehouse as well as the amount of Pepsi-Cola returned from the retail outlets.
• To maintain records of petrol consumption by the route truck fleet.
• To maintain areas for waste materials and arrange for prompt removal.
