Understanding financial issues and providing guidance to clients.
A Consultant may research, analyze, forecast, develop strategies, prepare reports and perform many other related activities.
Having certifications in (CFP)/ (CIA)/ (CPA) is a plus.
The post holder will be working in a developing environment and he/she will therefore be expected to undertake other appropriate duties as required for the effective operation of the organization.
A Financial Consultant is to perform all or any of the following tasks:
• Perform in-depth analysis.
• Meeting and advising client.
• Assist clients with the planning and budgeting process.
• Investigate possible cost saving areas.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate financial issues with non-finance individuals.
• Tracks financial status by monitoring variances from plan.
• Provides information by assembling and summarizing data; preparing reports; making presentations of findings, analyses, and recommendations.
• Financial statement analysis to provide in depth understanding of business units, sales team and key customer profitability; create recommendations to promote efficiency, cost effective procedures, and improved profitability.
• Propose and implement solutions to support cost reduction and reporting enhancement.
• Client confidentiality
• Will need to demonstrate that they can apply theoretical knowledge on relevant aspects of financial analysis into practice.
• Software Skills (especially in Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
• Develop Feasibility Study
