Governance Lead

Business Responsibilities:



•Provide the Director of Strategy and Change Management (SCMO) with the guidance and support to define and maintain the Governance and Gating Process in alignment with the overall enterprise business strategy,

•Manage and support the team in delivering the defined services in support of the Governance and Gating goals and objectives,

•Provide support to, and ensure compliance with the enterprise governance model,

•Foster and support cross functional collaboration across the organization,

•Ensure the enterprise goals and objectives are clearly communicated to employees in addition to providing them with the support required to grow within the organization,

•Ensure team members are provided with the support, guidance and mentorship required to support their functions and continued personal development,



Role and Responsibilities:



•Build, develop, maintain, and monitor client relationships in target customer groups internally and externally,

•Provide strategic business planning, advisory and assessment services to link the Governance with client requirements for IT solutions,

•Represent the Governance Team on appropriate committees, working groups, or other management organizations,

•Manage, develop, facilitate and ensure compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs), providing primary contact with solution provider(s),

•Manage a team of nine (9) team members in the delivery and deployment of Governance and Gating process to meet business objectives,

•Build relationships with team members and provide ideas and best practices that can benefit the team,

•Provide functional leadership of the team, including personnel and administration,

•Support the Governance operations by implementing and monitoring the planed and prioritized tasks, deadlines, and resource allocations,

•Manage and monitor Business Services processes as they relate to the operating model and framework,

•Manage and monitor and/or present training programs related to Governance and Gating,

•Manage and monitor ongoing compliance of Governance and Gating procedures and records management,

•Stay abreast of ongoing Governance and Gating trends and developments and remain current within profession or field,

•Work closely with department leads/directors and the SCMO management to to enhance and expand the implementation of the enterprise governance and gating model.
