Job Purpose:
As interior designer role you will be partner with our Retail & projects sales team to innovatively create Plans, designs, drafting detailed specifications, sketches, base design, schematics etc., for creating a pleasing and functional interior environment and study the received input data / specification and prepare the configuration / design drawings / detailed planning / or any other engineering document after selecting the equipment as per applicable specifications, codes and standard.
Duties include consulting with individuals responsible for the space to be designed regarding decisions on space planning, color and fabric selections and furniture, shelving, and cabinet selections. Proposals for design work are prepared with regard to budgetary restrictions and customer or user expectations.
- Work is performed with considerable independence and furnishes interior environments of residential, Such as Villa’s, Beach houses, Apartments, Spa’s.
Skills
• A thorough knowledge of computer aided design system (AutoCAD, 3D Max, Photoshop), and has excellent hand sketching techniques.
• Ability to work with one Furniture (FE) supplier mainly Becara.
• A minimum of 1 year full time work experience in an interior designer position & looking for a long term career opportunity.
• Experience in team work and with different cultures.
• Professional Knowledge of Standard windows software such as Excel, Power Point, etc.
Competency Requirements:
• Working knowledge of interior design or space planning, renovations, new layouts, flair for color, Vrays, knowledge of fashion furniture trends and styles.
• Most importantly, he should be able to come up with creative concepts in a timely manner.
• Mature understanding of drafting and design principles.
• Fluency in both English and Arabic is a must.
• A willingness to work long hours, often under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Must have experience doing in- home consultations and be comfortable working with clients in the showroom and in their home.
• Considerable knowledge of the preparation of proposals and specifications for interior design work.
• Ability to work with drafting tools.

Interior Designer usually works in the office.
Working Hours:
48 hours per week.
Education
Bachelor's degree with major course work in interior design.
