Progress Personnel are searching on behalf of their client, a well-known KSA Construction company for a Senior Manager to oversee all of their heavy industry projects in Saudi Arabia. The company is well-known as a deliverer of major civil projects in the oil, gas, marine, petrochemical and power sectors in KSA.
The successful candidate will need to demonstrate that they possess superior management skills, leadership qualities, organisational capabilities, energy, stamina and drive whilst showing an astute political tact. You must demonstrate your ability to team-build, talent-spot, have excellent negotiation and communication skills and be innovatively creative.
Reporting to the Senior Manager of Operations, You will be leading a team of Project Managers and the various subdivisions (Construction, Planning, QA / QC, HSE, Plant & Machinery, Asset Control, Logistics and Contracts). You will also be responsible for client liaison and relationships, reporting to board level and ensure all project and company targets are met and performance is exceeded.
You will hold a minimum of a BSC in a Construction or Civil Engineering discipline, and will preferably demonstrate post-degree qualifications.
You will have a minimum of 10 years of Senior Management experiences as a Manager / Director of Projects with reputable GCC civil engineering / heavy industry construction companies, and show a record of management success in the construction industry.
It is preferable that you will have worked in either the Gulf region or Saudi Arabia.
Due to Iqama visa restrictions, preference is given to candidates who are Jordanian, British, Greek or Lebanese nationals.
