Description
The role of Service Operations Manager is to ensure profitability of service business through strategically plan and execute service jobs by ensuring most efficient utilization of manpower and material resources. He / She shall work close with service sales manager and marketing team in developing innovative service product offering.
- Accountable for cost effective operation of all service contracts and service activities. This involves planning and scheduling of the job, maximizing the utilization of manpower and resources and good co-ordination between site and offices. Also involves timely procurement of tools and material (finished goods and parts) required to execute the job.- Accountable to ensure entire service operation is in compliance with company Code of Ethics in respect to Customer & Suppliers, Employees, Shareowners and competitors.- Accountable to ensure the compliance with Environment, Health and Safety requirement set by corporation and local / federal regulations.- Responsible to establish quality objectives in line with company objectives formulate strategies / action plans and implement them effectively to achieve the set objectives. Accountable for the highest level of customer satisfaction in all customer dealings, on both internal and external customer level.- Responsible to ensure quality and cost effectiveness in of subcontracted work as per comapny's quality standards and to the satisfaction of the customer.- Responsible to meet all the contractual obligations in all maintenance contract and other service jobs to meet and exceed customer expectations.- Responsible for all aspects of project planning and execution for ongoing service contracts and jobs and emergency service needs.- Responsible to improve the response time and resolution time for all customer service calls and to reduce quality related call backs.- Responsible to work with Service Sales Manager and other operations staff on renewal of maintenance contracts by analyzing the condition of the machine maintained and if any requirements/amendments need to be done prior to renewing of the contracts.- To ensure timely and accurate preparation of documented reports such as job project completion report warranty reports, statistical reports, sales quotes, etc.- Responsible in conjunction with HR department to ensure all necessary resources required for the field and maintenance staff such as transportation, housing, personal protective equipment.- Responsible to set clear performance objectives for service operation staff, monitor, direct and provide necessary support to achieve their performance goals. Conduct thorough and objective performance appraisals and develop action plan in coordination with HR.- Responsible to establish adequate and appropriate key performance indicators (KPI) and timely monitoring and updating of KPI.
Profile
For this role of HVAC Service Operations Manager - KSA my client is looking for candidates with the following experience:
Education
- Bachelor degree in mechanical engineering- Qualification in operations / project management is added advantage- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role, with 3 years managerial experience.
Specific Knowledge
