Functional Description
This position is responsible for managing, controlling national technical servicing and repair of all products supplied by the company to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
• Direct and control the National Service, Warranty, Technical Departments and related workshops staff to ensure that they are appropriately motivated and trained and carry out their responsibilities to the required standards.
• Develop and control goals and objective for the National Service department and ensures that they are achieved.
• Develop and implement necessary policies and procedures and ensures that all day-to-day service activities are complied with the approved practices, procedures, quality standards and manufacturers technical standards.
• Maintain regular contact with customers to ensure that there is continuous feedback about the quality of service provided.
• Maintain an awareness of technical developments in the industry to ensure that the company maintains its competitive position.
• Negotiate with customers in the event of any claims against the company.
• Develops and manages the department operating budget.
• Monitors and controls the cost of services by reviewing and analyzing repair orders, services cost and other expenses.
Note: this job description shall include, but is not necessarily limited to the above duties. May temporarily perform other duties assigned to maintain operations and services.
Reporting Line
This position reports to the Brand General Manager.
Span of Control
This position supervises the Service, Warranty, Technical Departments and related workshops staff.
