Job Description
Learning Solutions Business:
The Learning Solutions Business Manager will meet or exceed sales objectives of the assigned territory by promoting and selling the Learning Solutions product suites through professional solution sales techniques and building strong customer relationships.
General Selling
• Defining and executing sales plans, and complete and deliver regular activity reports to support these plans.
• Researching, developing, prospecting to, and creating a pipeline of opportunities of at least 3 times the necessary revenue required to meet sales quota.
Advanced Selling
• Managing an enterprise solution sale with a 3 month to 6 month purchasing cycle. Moving the sale through the entire interest, evaluation, presentation and purchasing process. This includes taking an active role in the RFP process.
• Performing as a buying consultant and delivering consistent value messaging that ensures the client views Edutech as a strategic partner, and positions us for a larger relationship moving forward.
• Planning and leading strategic meetings across a diverse client base at the executive level of the higher education and corporate verticals and has exceptional ability to read the communication and buying style of the decision maker and supporting committee members.
• Facilitating client objections, by allowing the client(s) to handle the business problem, and reinforce the discovery by the client by articulating Edutech’s ability to find a solution, and developing creative solutions.
Additional Responsibilities:
• Possessing an understanding of technology and solution sales methodologies
• Being well informed about current industry trends and have an ability to talk intelligently about corporate learning and the education industry.
