• Prepare access network design, including, fiber access and fiber backbone networks, employing Fiber-To-The-Node (FTTN), Fiber-To-The-Premises (FTTP), and Fiber-To-The-Home (FTTH) technology. DESIGN KNOWLEDGE IS A MUST.
• Responsible for Design and planning of FTTH & FTTB (GPON) network
• To prepare Fundamental design showing Street cabinet boundaries, Hand holes, Manholes ODB locations.
• To prepare designs for Fiber Optic Cable routes, Schematic diagram and splicing details
• Planning of future expansion of FTTH (GPON) access network.
• Manage Network design & selection of futuristic services or network segments
• Implementation of database for FTTH outside Plant (OSP) Network using GIS system
• Control and support timely updating various data sheets for work order completion, Fiber optic cable termination, Fiber routing (allocation).
• Plan, initiate, co-ordinate with different vendors and manage all activities for efficient Installation with optimal efficiency and as per schedule
• Maintenance activities of the FTTx and GSM network for all regions
• Maintain the all Live and spare fibers record, Inventory record and BOQ record.
• Site surveys and meetings with contractors and inspection the contractors work and checking the PAT and RED Documents
• Prepares weekly reports on the progress of the Sub-contractors, and verify the validity of Sub-contractors progress report
• Maintain up to date reference information & data on theoretical topics & Mobily Network specific reference material
• Assess performance of department & report to Manager of the Department periodically
• Manage Design Change activities
• To prepare Link Budgeting, Capacity analysis
• To Prepare Case Studies for all Regions.
• Forecast for future requirements, GPON solution for new sectors
• Expanding, upgrading & enhancing the Junction and Access Network (Fixed Fiber Optic Network
• Provision of Media to GSM and POP sites.
