Contribute to the design, implementation and review of recruitment strategy, plans, procedures and policies for the Group
Forecast employment needs and develop an annual recruitment plan to support both, current and planned hiring activity ensuring adherence to IDB’s staffing objectives
Design a rigorous assessment methodology and tools to select the most suitable staff for the Group
Design and evaluate selection processes including interviews, psychometric tests, personality questionnaires and various group activities
Identify and track the cost, benefit, and effectiveness of recruitment sources and activities
Provide professional support and advice on recruitment and selection best practices to Division members
Keep up to date with current employment legislation and ensure that the Division’s operations are in compliance with local labor laws
Manage manpower planning in coordination with other Departments with due regard to meeting institutional business needs in short to longer tem horizons
Oversee manpower modeling vis-à-vis performance and productivity measurement to obtain optimal resource utilization in changing environment
Communicate with all IDB organizational units to assess manpower needs business activities
Design and implement internal staff movement and redeployment system to increase the cross fertilization across the business units within the Group
Communicate with IDB organizational units to understand and identify skills and competencies required to support current and future needs of the organizational unit
Monitor and assess the effectiveness of the recruitment and staffing strategies and plans based on feedback from the Division and other IDB organization units
Develop solutions and ideas to improve the effectiveness of the recruitment and staffing strategies and plans
§ Provide clear direction, prioritize tasks, assign and delegate responsibility and monitor the workflow of the Division
§ Plan, manage and review individual performance and provide regular feedback, development and coaching, taking prompt action where necessary
§ Provide opportunities for Recruitment and Staffing Division members to suggest, participate in and contribute to improvement, innovation and knowledge sharing initiatives
Ensure the Recruitment and Staffing Division complies with IDB’s policies, processes, practices and systems
