On behalf of our client a leading company in metal trading, processing, and recycling business we are seeking a General Manager for a major new project to be based in Dammam, Saudi Arabia..
You will be responsible for supervising operations, maintenance, planning and managing labour force and shift schedule, supply chain, daily operations activities, manufacturing plant to meet planned production requirements.• Directs and coordinates plant operations within company policies and procedures;• Establishes and direct plant policies and procedures.• Plant production goals.• Confers with department heads to ensure coordination of purchasing, production, and shipping.• Selects and trains plant supervisory and administrative staff.• Conducts employee performance reviews, and other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management. • Accountable to create and execute a financial plan for manufacturing and support operations.• Ensures adherence to safety practices standard operating procedures and manufacturing protocols. • Ensures the safety of all Manufacturing Operations employees through compliance with all company policies, procedures, safety rules, and regulations.• Responsible for ensuring that long range training and development systems of control are in place to meet future objectives of the business. • Participates in Talent Management, succession planning, and talent acquisition of Operations positions and talent.
