Operations Manager - Bakhashab Transport and Trading

• JOB PURPOSE: To direct the activities of the Operations function in order to ensure that operational efficiency and customer service standards are maintained at all times. • KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: Budget Preparation:  Contribute to the preparation of the operations budget, and monitor the financial performance of the operations activities versus set budget to ensure alignment with set budget guidelines. Operations Management:  Monitor the efficient operation of the department, identifying areas for improvement and proposing modifications, in order to enhance the efficiency and cost effectiveness of all operations and compliance with the local rules and legislation.  Review all the current and future operations needs of Bakhashab in order to ensure a proper scheduling to meet the business requirements and transport objectives. Operations Planning:  Lead and ensure the effective planning/scheduling of the movement of vehicles while ensuring accurate record keeping of all matters related in order to meet operations requirements and business objectives. Tracking Control:  Oversee the tracking trucks in order to ensure the proper delivery of goods in a timely manner and achieve customer satisfaction.  Record and monitor the operations utilisation in order to ensure smooth and timely deliveries of goods. Resource Allocation:  Manage all transport requirements of Bakhashab in order to ensure proper allocation of drivers/ vehicles as per business requirements while ensuring optimal performance to meet customer satisfaction. Transportation Services & Operations Administration:  Lead the transportation operation in order to ensure achieving the daily and monthly operational targets and costs while ensuring smooth and efficient delivery operation  Ensure meeting the SLA operational targets with all customers in relation with defined quality standards. • COMMUNICATIONS & WORKING RELATIONSHIPS Internal: Regular interactions with the Transport to provide up-date on progress against strategic objectives, and report any significant matters. Regular interactions with all related departments involved in the operations to provide insight and guidance related to the field of work oversee operations progress and resolve critical issues. Regular interactions with direct team members to manage and oversee performance of the function provide guidance and manage the day-to-day operations. External: Third Party Contractors, Government Entities.
