Training Manager - Yousef Abdul Latif Jameel Group

- Identifies training and development needs in the hotel and devise training and development activities to address the needs

- Assists Heads of Department to formulate departmental training and development plans

- Plans implements and co-ordinates off job training activities

- Develops a resource file for training activities, to include external consultants and training companies, materials and exercises

- Prepares and monitors training programmes for management trainees

- Organizes monthly Team Coach Meetings.

- Ensures that management are briefed and kept up to date of the training activities taking place in the hotel

- Assists in ensuring the hotel fulfills it’s legal obligations with regard to fire, health and safety training of employees

- Ensures that the training which is carried out in departments is of a high standard and sits in periodically on training sessions to evaluate the quality

- Ensures that there is an awareness of training activities in the hotel through bulletin boards, flyers...

- Assists with identifying career opportunities for employees and with ensuring succession plans and development plans are in place in all areas

- Evaluates the quality of internal & external training programs

- Motivate & counsel Team Coaches

- Carries out any other reasonable request as assigned by the HR Manager

- Keeps up to date with trends on the market.
