The Role
Make the most effective use of space and stock available to the store by maximising sales and minimising wastage of resources
Train staff in selling techniques and product knowledge to ensure that there is an effective selling team within the store
Work closely with the Store Manager and the Buying team to provide effective feedback, ensuring that popular selling lines are replenished on time
Show awareness of competitor activity and communicate this to the team in regular meetings
Ensure that development plans are performed with all team members each month
Recruit high calibre staff and manage their induction and performance effectively
