Experienced in preparation of Commercial and Technical Proposals utilizing
data from Clients RFP Documents in the fields of Operations & Maintenance,
Landscaping, Catering & Life Support Services (housekeeping, laundry,
janitorial…) Waste Management, etc.
Qualifications
BS Degree in Engineering (Civil or Mechanical)
Minimum 10 years experience as Estimator, 5 of which must be in Saudi
Arabia and/or any GCC Country.
Must have extensive working knowledge in spreadsheets (Excel or similar)
Word Processing (MS Word) and Database (MS Access or similar). ERP
experience is a big plus.
Main responsibilities:
A. Organizational: understand the existing structures; suggest amendment or
improvement if necessary.
B. Financial: understand existing costing techniques and systems. Improve
C. Operations:
Analysis of tender packages and invitation to tender / RFP…etc
Distribution of tasks to Department team members.
Management of time, staff, resources ...etc.
Organization of estimation department archives.
Creation of an indexed soft and hard copies library for the pricing, write-
ups, specifications …etc.
Regular data Backups.
Coordination with other departments (Administration, HR, Logistics,
Procurement…) for timely preparation of bids, proposals, Pre-Qualifications
(PQ)…etc.
Develop relevant knowledge and skills for himself and his staff.
Train and educate staff.
Prepare report on activities and provide relevant management information.
Establishment of Department's rules, regulations, SOP’s, checklists …etc.
when necessary.
Deliver professional, innovative, realistic proposals and presentations which
reflect the integrity, standards, procedures and Ethos of the company.
