Analyze market, competitive scenario, customer buying trends etc; Estimate potential for customer-segments & product mix; Analyze competitor intelligence vis-à-vis one's own strengths and abilities; Identify business opportunities; Identify needs and expectations of various stakeholders (such as customers, Principals etc.); Review and approve annual business plans & budgets from fleet, government, retail and branch heads; Secure needed resources and investments; Communicate strategy / plans / targets / budgets etc to team; Monitor regularly, progress on strategy achievement; Direct corrective actions in order to achieve strategic business goals for the assigned brand.

Analyze inventory, fresh-arrivals and other information from Marketing Commercials affecting sales.
Guide preparation of 3-month, sales plan;
Allocate next month target; Cascade targets and budgets for various focus models in each product segment; Establish targets for retail, branch-locations, fleet and government in order to plan for achievement of sales targets.
Line Proposition (SLP) for such focus models with marketing; Analyze past trends of buyer-behavior and impact of past initiatives on such focus models; Plan required number of prospects to meet sales targets; Collaborate with marketing to mine databases, determine media-vehicle for targeting relevant segment; Devise tailor-made schemes, events and campaigns for addressing target segments; Supervise and guide sales & team on executing such plans & schemes.
Monitor and guide sales team on achieving requisite number of prospects in order to achieve the desired sales volumes.
Monitor adequacy of prospect funnel for each focus model for retail, branches and fleet;
Set norms for each stage of the prospect funnel (. number of days for "hot", "warm" and "cold" prospects);
Define process of managing these prospects through various stages of the prospect funnel;
Review metrics related to prospect-conversion ratios at focus-model level versus target for retail, branches and fleet;
Resolve on priority any red-flags escalated; Review, every month, reasons for red-flags reported and identify systemic means of preventing recurrence / leakage; Coordinate with IT for improvements required in Hand-shake system / SAP in order to effectively convert prospects into sales.
setting price discounts, collaboration with C&C / Used Cars / leasing, stocking & delivery of vehicles at all locations, test-drives, reporting lost sales & other MIS etc; Set sales targets model-wise & segment-wise; Verify implementation & efficacy of Sales Certification program across sales-force; Negotiate terms and conditions with customers for escalated bulk-deals; Analyze issues & barriers to improving conversions; Guide resolution of such issues in line with customer & market requirements; Resolve escalated issues on delivery & logistics; Review sales satisfaction scores & lost sales analysis; Direct & guide corrective actions in order to increase sales.
Devise, communicate and verify implementation of appropriate processes and controls to protect company assets; Analyze root causes of cross-functional issues reported; Identify cross-functional process improvements needed; Coordinate with allied departments for re-designing improvement in processes & controls; Anticipate issues that could impact sales or could risk company assets; Direct and guide team on making proactive improvements including risk mitigation measures; Provide functional inputs to IT on EMS; Understand the standards from Principal; Monitor adherence; Review audit findings on branches; Direct and guide initiatives to achieve compliance with standards in order to improve the efficiencies and effectiveness of processes & controls.
