Human Resources Administrator - Saudi Electric Services Polytechnic (SESP)

POSITION SUMMARY

The Human Resources Officer is responsible for the day-to-day running of the human resources, including support for the performance monitoring and evaluation process, expatriate visa processing, and documentation for the processing of payroll, benefits, and allowances. Other duties include coordination of on-boarding and repatriation of expatriate staff and assistance with recruitment.



ABOUT THE COMPANY

Saudi Electric Services Polytechnic (SESP) is a polytechnic, based in Baish, Jizan province and Juaymah, Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia. SESP is a non-profit tertiary education institution which opened in September 2012. It is a public-private partnership between the Saudi Government (TVTC) and industry partner (Saudi Electricity Company) to establish a world-class vocationally focused institution aimed at upskilling Saudi students for careers in the electrical power generation, transmission and distribution sectors.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide support for drafting of employment agreements consistent with Saudi labor law

• Handle the logistics of expatriate employee onboarding and repatriation

• Administer the visa and iqaama processes—including exit/reentry--for all expatriate employees; prepare and submit required paperwork and documentation to the appropriate government offices

• Oversee local health insurance policy for staff

• Provide documentation for employee compensation

• Participate in and provide support for the new employee orientation

• Assist with recruitment

• Update the employee handbook as necessary; draft correspondence (in English and Arabic) related to human resources policies and practices

• Maintain personnel files and records, including annual leave records

• Support the staff monitoring and evaluation process.

• Implement practices that support the Saudization plan

• Assure discreet handling of all personnel matters.

• Dress professionally and appropriately at all times.

• Follow AMIDEAST and SESP standard operating procedures and all Saudi Arabian laws, regulations, mores and standards of conduct.
