The Sales Supervisor is responsible for the coordination and supervision of all channel sales activities in the branded dealer program and to lead Event Sales Representatives in executing day-to-day operational sales activities. He shall be reporting to the Director of Direct Sales and as such shall help execute the sales and distribution strategy country wide to achieve targets on KPIs for the Virgin Mobile brands.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Provide clear and concise action plans for the Event Sales Representatives
• Offer support, on the job training and lead the sales activities for his team of Event Sales representatives
• Accumulate, filter and appraise daily sales reports and feedback
• Ensure that set sales targets and quality standards are met or exceeded
• Manage, implement and measure reports (. sales, stock inventory, etc.)
• Work with Sales Director to construct sales tools, training and incentive mechanisms to drive focused sales
• Partner with the distributors and their retail staff to develop Virgin Mobile best practice across all stores
• Measure the relative strengths and weaknesses of stores and work with staff to meet key targets
• Act as the ‘eyes and ears’ for both Virgin and the retailer to flag issues of concern, success, market trends, etc
