• Certify progress claims and payments to contractors against work completed
• During project execution, value changes to design or quantities which may arise
• Oversee financial contract administration throughout the course of the job
• Monitor construction progress, from the early phase of a project to the completion of the construction period
• Support the Project Controller in advising on the quantity of building materials to be used and its costs
• Fairly value progress payments at regular intervals
• Meet with clients to discuss their needs and restrictions
• Study architects’ and engineers’ building plans and contracts
• Check the congruence between the project and the contract conditions (contract review)
• Prepare financial accounts and reporting
• Take the initiative to keep up with the latest developments in building methods and materials, local by-laws and work safety practices
• At feasibility stage, support the Tendering Team, using their knowledge of construction methods and costs, to advise on the most economical way of achieving requirements and establish a project budget
• After construction, may be involved with tax depreciation schedules, replacement cost estimation for insurance purposes and, if necessary, mediation and arbitration
• Provide information to the Administration for inter-company invoicing and manage inter-company variations
• Collaborate with all other directions to maximize Group performance
• Always operate according to Group culture and values
