Directly reporting to the HR Director, the successful Training Manager shall be responsible for supporting the development and advancement of all staff within the organization to enhance organizational performance or improve job-related skills especially for identified staff with ‘sub-par’ performance. The role also includes the provision of new employees with the relevant information about the company, orientation and training programs.



Duties and Responsibilities



• Development the operating framework for the performance evaluation of employees using various methods

• Execute assessment methods for the staff subordinates for the development of career plans

• Preparation and processing kits, training aids and rehabilitation required

• Provide advice and guidance to executive management regarding training and development plan

• Provide information on how to formulate programs to improve the quality and the formation of an effective work teams

• Develop programs on racial empowerment and leadership with the objective of creating effective teams

• Set and update training and development goals, establish priorities, manage resources and employee relations

• Introduce concepts and approaches for training and development programs, periodically reviewing project progress and results

• Ensure effective implementation of training and development plans

• Set the annual training company budget based on objective measures for effective implementation and seek ‘buy-in’ and approval from the executive management

• Stay on trend regarding industry best practice by conducting research and analyzing findings from Staff Opinion Surveys in order to provide input for the formulation of strategy
