Lead Engineer, Process (Industrial waste water plant) - MASA

Job description

The job holder is responsible to monitor and test performance of equipment and auxiliaries in the water area to ensure proper operations and compliance with established parameters for delivering uninterrupted service to the customers. The employee will reports to the Manager or the superintendent. The job holder is challenged to stay abreast of developments and innovations in the field, determine what is suitable for deployment in the company and raise appropriate recommendations. The job holder is in charge to support the Wastewater team in case of emergency, process adjustment and monitor all the chemical consumption. He will be also join in the On Call team.

The employees will be also in charge of the chemical consumption, the optimization of chemical budget and the monitoring of the inlet quality with a strong relation with the industrial customer .

He must be a strong support for the daily task and activities and analyze all the laboratory report, to propose any adjustment or correction of the process. ( site visit, Regulator meeting, analyses the forecast demand, participate to build the budget and follow it, ).

He will be also in charge to support the commissioning team, for the new project and deliver advice for the safety items.



Profile (education - experience - Key competencies and mandatory skills…)

Minimum Qualifications:

 Chemical Engineer, Master degree of chemical or waste water process



Minimum Experience:

 10 years’ process engineering in a heavy industrial or utilities environment.

 Experience of managing/costing projects involving external contractors.

 1 - 2 years’ project costing experience involving the use of relevant software.

 Experience of technical evaluation of design options.



Job-Specific Skills:

 Skilled in the use of engineering costing software and demonstrating capability of making optimal use of the software to achieve assignment requirements.



Generic Skills:

 English Language: fluent, Arabic speaking will be appreciate

 Engineering Principles, Engineering Project Costing

 Performance Management, Project Management, Environmental Management Systems, Quality Management Systems, Time Management
