Job Purpose:
Plan and manage the resources to execute the project(s) in accordance with relevant standards and adhering to agreed project schedule and allocated budget.
Job Context:
This position is one of 4 positions directly reporting to the section superintendent in the Projects function. The jobholder contributes to the implementation of the assigned projects.
The jobholder is a key member of a team that usually works together during new projects, handling all aspects of the Project with special emphasis on their respective areas of specialization.
The jobholder also has primary responsibility to maintain strong relationships with contractors/vendors and stay abreast with ‘best practice’ regionally and internationally.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/ Electrical/Civil Engineering.
Minimum Experience:
7 - 10 years of projects experience in a heavy industrial or utilities environment.
3 - 5 years’ experience of managing third party contractors in the execution of projects.
Experience of managing multi-disciplinary projects.
