Role Purpose:
Lead, develop and motivate a team of sales professionals to achieve individual and team sales targets, in addition to manage own portfolio of key account clients in order to serve and grow existing business.
Key Accountabilities:
Sales Activity:
Exploits and explores business opportunities with new and existing key accounts and allocated channels in order to meet or exceed set sales revenue targets through administration of the sales cycle, from order receipt through to product delivery and on-going support;
Execute Business review with clients.
Drive DPSM [Distribution-Shelving-Pricing-Merchandizing] across assigned outlets.
Team Leadership:
Leads a sales team to achieve or exceed agreed sales target levels through the effective deployment and motivation of sales professionals.
Lead Sales Team meetings as per business needs on systematic base.
Team Planning:
Plans, prioritises and allocates short and long term sales team activities, ensuring effective deployment of resources, in order to optimise prospects for the achievement of stretching sales targets;
Organize all assigned duties on due dates.
Sales Coverage & Distribution Plan:
- Manages the selling cycle for own portfolio of major accounts from allocation through to sales closure in order to service and grow existing business.
Sales Targets:
Makes personal calls on major accounts and potential leads at the middle to senior management level in order to achieve individual and team sales targets.
