Role Purpose:
To manage and implement the brands marketing plan in the feminine hygiene category that is set with the regional marketing manager and in accordance with the regional brands strategy to analyze the market developments, following up closely on competitive activities, participate in the development of the brands positioning in the market, in terms of price positioning, portfolio, special activities, etc. communicate to the sales team the activities related to the brands and give them the needed support with their clients . Follow up on sales and distribution figures in accordance to set targets.
Key Accountabilities:
Market intelligence:
Supervise market intelligence and translate data into information toward product and market developments in coordination with management.
Study products positioning vs. Competition for each category.
Submit weekly reports reflecting competitive activities with recommendation toward product/market enhancement in coordination with management.
Research:
Submit bi-monthly retail audit reports - with detailed analysis of own brands and competition, accordingly send action recommendation, and monitor the success of special activities.
Coordinates with regional marketing manager on qualitative & quantitative studies related to the market submit analysis of research studies conducted in the related market.
Marketing activities:
Participate in building the yearly forecast and marketing activities, based on the set marketing strategy
Ensure implementation of marketing activities as per the annual planning (merchandising, consumer promotion, POSM, sampling) to assure attainment of sales, margin and market share.
Conduct regular field visit to monitor and control the execution of the planned activities.
Collect and analyze the sales and distribution data by trade channel and area in comparison with the set budget.
Recommend counteractive actions on unexpected activities or developments done by key players in the market .
Review advertising campaigns objectives and actual deliveries compared to plan
Evaluate how changes in product positioning will impact sales, volumes, expenses and profitability
Implement public relation activities coordinated with management.
Track products budgeted expenses and ensure successful achievement.
Submit monthly reports on the development of all products performance.
Prepare brand reviews with planned and implemented activities with a clear analysis on the category.
Trade Activities:
Assist the sales force in key negotiations for listing and display agreements with the major accounts
Develop follow up system with the sales and merchandising team to track competitive activities in the trade
Communicate and train the sales team / merchandising team on plan -o-gram implementation.
Create reward system for best displays /shelving
Assist the country sales manager in setting the monthly targets of Fempro
Develop key account promotional activities and participate in the customer’s events/bonanzas/sale festivals/etc..
Propose trade related marketing activities (signage /in store advertising /etc..)
Responsible for recommending the tactical activities needed monthly to achieve the sales targets in coordination with the country sales manager
Visit the market to interact as necessary with customers to assist the sales organization
Maintain a high level of motivation environment with the team.
Any other task required by management
