Main purpose of job: To carryout and perform general warehouse duties as directed by the Warehouse Supervisor and Warehouse Manager. To be aware of, and follow, warehouse safety handling procedures. To work as part of the warehouse team member.
Responsibilities:
1. To prepare orders as per the instruction of Warehouse supervisor and assist for loading and unloading the containers in a safety manner.
2. To be responsible for the safekeeping of company property and make sure that hygiene is maintained throughout the warehouse.
3. Coordinate with quality controller to carry quality checks for incoming stuffs and outgoing orders.
4. Count and assist warehouse in-charge for recording stock figures.
5. To be responsible for completion and prompt submission of all related paperwork and the provision of other information as requested.
6. To develop productive working relationships with colleagues.
7. To communicate effectively with colleagues, managers, other warehouse & department staff.
8. To brief and assist couriers if required.
9. To be able to deal effectively and efficiently with queries and correspondence.
10. To be aware of and to follow all safety guidelines.
11. To ensure accuracy in all paperwork and delivery quantities.
12. To assist in other duties as reasonably requested by the warehouse supervisor or warehouse Manager
