Corporate Warehouse (material Handling) Manager - Al Khorayef Group

Key Accountability Areas :



1- Inventory Control/Interface with Procurement and Sites/Dispatch and Material Handling/Management of Satellite Material Stores (Warehouses on sites)



Key Activities :



• Implement and administer complete Material control control system

• Control inventory and allocate/dispatch material to sites from central material warehouse and sites satellite stores

• keep accurate record of material movement/allocation, dispatch of material to satellite stores, material release to sites

• Interface with procurement to verify material availability prior to purchase request approval by high management - eliminate redundancies in orders.

• Ensure accurate reception of new material and verification of received items against orders quantitatively, qualitatively, and compliance with purchase orders and exhibits committed with the supplier

• Keep a log of original delivery tickets for feedback and confirmation to release payment against material received

• Manage all satelliet stores at jobsites.

• Arrange for logistical requirement to dispatch material across job sites

• Keep inventory updated at all times and track material movement

• Instruct satellite material warehouse to obtain PM confirmation of material request/receipt

• track the complete chain of custody of material from suppliers to movements across material warehouses to PM onsite

• Issue non-comliance notices for the receipt of damaged goods and reject accordingly



2- Material Staging/Preservation/Protection/ Policies, Processes and Procedures



• Store material in accordance with OEM recommendation to ensure preservation

• Store material in climate controlled environment if necessary

• Tag all material and organize in a systematic way to locate expeditiously and dispatch in an efficient manner

• Stage material onsite, secure it and manage satellite stores to dispatch and release material to sites

• Support in monitoring day-to-day activities to ensure compliance with stipulated policies and procedures



3- Safety, Health and Environment



• Comply with all relevant safety, health and environmental management policies, procedures and controls to ensure a healthy and safe work environment

• Participate in incident and accident investigations as required in line with agreed safety, health and environment policies, procedures and controls

• Report on changes within AWPT that impact relevant safety, health and environmental management policies, procedures and controls



3- People Management



• Supervise, guide and assist direct reports to perform their daily activities in accordance with the policies and procedures

• Actively participate in on-the-job training, mentoring and coaching of direct reports

• Generate commitment, motivation and enthusiasm to team goals, and guide team members through periods of change or uncertainly

• Provide clear direction, prioritize tasks, assign and delegate responsibility and monitor the workflow

• Provide opportunities for team members to suggest, participate in and contribute to improvement, innovation and knowledge sharing initiatives

• Ensure the team complies with AGC’s values, policies, processes and systems
