Duties and Responsibilities:
-Monitor the operating results of the Maintenance & Engineering section, compare them to established goals and objectives
-Ensure compliance of Maintenance & Engineering operations to the company policies and regulations in order to avoid any discrepancies or unsatisfactory results.
-Develop an annual maintenance plan for all of the company’s plants, equipments, machinery and assets and oversee its implementation.
-Prepare a preventive maintenance schedule for all of the company’s equipment/ machinery according to the expected breakdown / life time for the machinery.
-Perform preventive and predictive maintenance checks and servicing on equipment by implementing maintenance schedules.
-Perform corrective mechanical and electrical maintenance by troubleshooting the cause of malfunctions using visual inspection, precision measuring and testing instruments and replacing or repairing broken parts.
-Monitor spare parts supplies and help maintain appropriate inventories of spare parts and materials; assist with estimating quantities of spare parts materials and supplies needed and placing orders.
-Perform regular inspections of the company’s property for safety and security issues, including, but not limited to non-functioning lights, ground and trip hazards, broken fences, exposed wiring and pot-holes.
-Actively promote correct handling and use of equipment across all departments to avoid break downs.
-Ensure the company’s safety regulations are being adhered to at all times.
-Provide advice, guidance, direction, and authorization to section personnel to carry out major plans and procedures, consistent with established policies.
-Provide guidance and leadership to all section employees to ensure effective and efficient flow of work, and ensure all employees recognize their fundamental role in the function.
-Monitor the adherence of function's employees to the company’s guidelines, policies and procedures.
