Senior Site Infrastructure Engineer - Riyadh
The Senior Site Infrastructure Engineer will be responsible for the day to day operation of BuroHappold site supervision contract and maintaining standards of delivery including quality, health and safety in accordance with the scope of works. The Senior Site Infrastructure Engineer will be responsible for interface with the client and represent BuroHappold at site related meetings working closely with the site operations teams.
Job Requirements
The Senior Site Infrastructure Engineer will be a qualified professional with a minimum qualification of BSc, BEng, BA or equivalent, have Chartered status and more than 15 year’s experience with a minimum of five years being similar to this project/role, regional experience is preferred. The Senior Site Infrastructure Engineer will possess a demonstrable track record in the delivery of large infrastructure projects.
The Senior Site Infrastructure Engineer will also be responsible for maintaining and enhancing Buro Happolds reputation with our client and developing effective long term relationships thus identifying and developing new opportunities for the Group.
The Senior Site Infrastructure Engineer will:
• Report to the Project Director and will be supported by the on-site multi-disciplinary team.
• Be responsible for ensuring that the civil engineering aspects of the works are constructed in accordance with the contract
requirements
• Check contractor’s submissions and shop drawings and calculations
• Respond to the contractor’s request for information
• Liaise with the Material Engineer on required testing and the test results.
• The individual will be required to liaise with multiple contractors who interface with the relevant sections of the project.
• Monitor site safety and liaise with the relevant contractors
• Prepare site progress for the Project Director and the client.
• Ensure the timely planning and implementation of the various phases of the contract
• Keep comprehensive records of works done and labour and plant returns
• Assist the planning engineer to monitor progress and notify the Project Director of any potential delays.
• Responsible for the overall management of the site deliverables
• Supervision of the BuroHappold site team which includes:
• Civil Inspector
• Landscape Inspector
• Civil Engineering Surveyors
• Assist the Quantity Surveyor with respect to measurements and pay applications
