JOB PURPOSE:
To provide support in developing and managing the Real Estate function, client requirements and investments in addition to contributing towards the overall strategy of SEDCO Capital. This role is actively involved in identifying new development opportunities in the real estate sector and recommending investments based on commercial evaluations and organizational objectives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Core Responsibilities
Executes and implements the real estate investment and management strategy through necessary actions
Identifies and proactively sources new investment opportunities for the SEDCO Capital with a variety of mechanism including market assessment, competitive positioning etc.
Executes the pursued deals, covering all aspects like business diligence, risk underwriting and managing external advisors
Performs financial and investment analysis to support transaction negotiations, provides support and advice to portfolio companies etc.
Executes the acquisition, management and possible exit strategies of all real estate investments opportunities both locally and globally in guidance of the Head of Real Estate.
Takes necessary steps for the management of the real estate program and ensures that the program is run in accordance with the investment mandate
Interacts with Head of Real Estate for the management of the real estate program and ensures that the program is run in accordance with the investment mandate
Provides support to the Head of Real Estate and Product Development division in development of products in line with the market demands and client requirements
Conducts research and data analysis on best practices in institutional management of real estate investments and proactively recommends the implementation of such policies, practices and strategies
Manages deals, projects and strategic alliances involving SEDCO Capital and evaluates the desirability, feasibility and the expected Return on Investments of the same
Manages all financial transactions including terms structuring and negotiations, management of real estate funds, transaction processing etc. of all strategic alliances
Advises clients on all aspects of portfolio management including geographical allocation of funds in real estate instruments and rebalancing existing portfolios to ensure maximum returns
Tracks and monitors the fund performance
Provides recommendations for changes in the investment policies due to changing market conditions
Performs other responsibilities and tasks as required or as directed by management from time to time
Self Management
Strives to achieve the highest level of proficiency on all competencies and skills required to perform this role
Identifies the training and development requirements for self and agrees on them with the Head of Real Estate to ensure that required trainings are arranged and attended
Sets the performance goals in the beginning of the year after discussion with Head of Real Estate and ensures that the goals are achieved during the course of the year
