HR Officer - Future Career Generator

On behalf of an educational facility we are urgently seeking a HR Officer to be based in Jouf, Saudi Arabia . Reporting to Director of HR and Professional Development.

• Provide support for the recruitment, selection, induction, training, performance management and termination of TOP employees• Ensure employees are aware of all HR policies and procedures• Provide support to employees who may have personal issues or concerns affecting their employment• Conduct staff satisfaction surveys and make recommendations based on results

• Greet staff, students, parents, employers and other visitors respectfully and listen to what they require, physically and virtually (telephone, email)• Provide HR support for recruitment, selection, induction, probation, promotion and termination of employment• Liaise with GRO to ensure staff papers are in order for the processing of work permits, visa and iqamas• Liaise with finance staff to ensure effective operation of payroll• Ensure staff are aware of policies and procedures for HR functions such as absence, grievance, disciplinary, performance management• Provide first line advice and support for employees, including for continuous professional development• Keep staff records up to date for leave, absence, sickness• Conduct employee satisfaction surveys and make recommendation to managers based on the results• Prepare agendas and take minutes of meetings of HR meetings• Maintain links with recruitment agencies in Saudi Arabia and overseas, as required• Keep up to date with Saudi Arabian employment law for locals and ex-pats, including Saudisation targets• Provide personal assistant duties, such as diary management and dealing with simple emails, as required• Help staff to improve morale, confidence and self-esteem by listening to them and responding appropriately.• Identify possible sources of continuous professional development for staff• Arrange staff updating, awareness raising and training session on HR policy and procedures as required• Provide support when staff are having issues with matters affecting their employment, such as travel, accommodation or homesickness• Ensure that the comfort and safety of staff is recognised and of paramount importance• Work within the laws and cultural requirements of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
