Dow Chemical has an exciting opportunity for an HR Manager at our new site in Al-Jubail. This position has responsibility for supporting the Dow Water Business population.The HR Manager brings value to the organization by working with the client group to understand the business needs, along with integrating and leveraging HR work products and services to meet those needs. The HR Manager coordinates with colleagues in the HR disciplines/technologies to implement the necessary daily actions and activities that support the site's people components of their strategies and plans. The successful candidate must gain an understanding of the site/corporate culture, be active in supporting change initiatives, must be a credible, communicate effectively at all levels of the organization, develop trusting relationships, and provide valuable feedback that enhances performance for all.Primary Responsibilities:Remove barriers to success for the internal client group; understand the HR work processes; challenge when necessary; ensure process integrity and flexibility to advantage clients. Network with other HR Professionals ensuring seamless HR service. This is particularly critical for strategic HR issues impacting the HR Professional's ability to consult at high levels in their organization. Demonstrate a working knowledge of applicable employment laws and legislated requirements with respect to human resource management / counsel leadership team to ensure successful local implementation and application of HR policies and programs. May include development and implementation of local policies that are aligned with global HR policies and work processes. Coordinate responses to critical data requests. Provide feedback to HR technology colleagues regarding local implementation issues and local needs in the various technologies. Educate and provide counsel to leadership and employees on application of HR policies and work processes.
