On behalf of our client a leading company in metal trading, processing, and recycling business we are seeking a Radiation Protection Officer for a major new project to be based in Dammam, Saudi Arabia.
The Radiation Protection Officer is responsible for the overall management of Radioactive Radiation protection at plant location, health and complying to safety issues related with radioactive radiations. The key role of RPO will be to Comply with the protection and safety rules and regulations during the use of radioactive sources/equipment, comply with the pre-defined Rules on disposal of waste of radioactive decontamination, conduct the periodic tests and calibration of detectors/sources, Supervise regulations, maintain data and sponsoring specialized training programs on awareness, protection and safety from the radioactive sources. This is a key position in organization, which requires mandatory Reporting to supervisors and competent regulatory authority.
