Corporate Accounting Manager - Diaverum Arabia Limited

The Corporate Accounting Team has responsibilities across a number of areas including period close activities, external reporting, treasury functions, and the establishment and oversight of accounting policies. The function is also primarily responsible for working alongside the Company’s investors on accounting matters including areas such as the review of related party charges and oversight of key financial controls which are performed by parent company shared service functions.



Responsibilities:

 Responsible for corporate period end close activities including preparation of more complex journal entries and related analyses as well as supervision and review of staff over less complex areas, ensuring sound policies and practices

 Ensure completeness and accuracy of financial statement analysis and proactive review of variances from budget/forecast

 Monitor and manage the enterprise accounting systems and related policies and procedures ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

 Identify current gaps as well as improvements potentials and develop solutions

 Ability to perform in a start-up environment

 Preparation of monthly cash flow forecasts which are a basis for parent company capital contributions

 Analysis and preparation of period end accruals, related reconciliations and amortization schedules

 Review of monthly cash reconciliation and provide guidance on the appropriate recognition of bank activity within financials

 Direct interaction with parent company accounting teams ensuring appropriate recognition of cross charges and review of parent company invoices for shared services and seconded resources

 Develop and distribute reports from ERP systems based on identified needs from both operations and finance

 Leading pre and post close meetings discussing status of the close process and areas requiring significant management judgment

 Support of requests generated by both internal and external audits.

 Develop strong working relationships with staff, peers, and senior management.

 Ensure necessary training and development of the corporate accounting team

 Manage and execute special projects as assigned by Finance Director
