Infrastructure Architects professionals demonstrate skills and specific experience in selecting, sizing, configuring and testing hardware infrastructure components, covering one or more of the Server, Storage and Network domains, and in estimating the required implementation effort and costs.
Providing architectural guidance and driving infrastructure decisions in collaboration with other technical and management stakeholders
Define criteria for Capacity Planning, Infrastructure Sizing, Technical, Functional and Integration Architecture, High and Low level design documents and offer guidance establishing implementing strategies and practices for appropriate Operating Systems and application infrastructure including user environments and the IT infrastructure as a whole.
Act as Subject Matter Expert for establishing Environment Landscape, defining User Roles, Implementing Applications and respective configurations including developing user communication strategies.
Design and Develop Application Deployment Strategies including Software Version Management, Application Configuration & Customization Management and Security Patch Management.
Provide expertise in the domains of Application and Information lifecycle Management, Backup and Restore strategies, Operations Monitoring, Application Performance Monitoring, Application Clustering and High Availability and User Load Balancing.
Work closely with senior management, systems operations staff, software development staff, support staff, and end-users to ensure rapid resolution of Application Implementation, Infrastructure and post Go-Live support issues.
Define and refine IT Application policies, procedures and standards for the enterprise solution.
Full life cycle experience, responsible for the development / designing of a complete set of architectural views for an enterprise.
Develop IT strategic plan, analyzed and assisted the department IT needs in conjunction with the OS, Network, Database, Data Interchange (EDI), Web, Application group.
Deliver specialized solutions, characterized by high performance and innovation, using a combination of consultancy, software and hardware.
Experience of ‘system of systems’ architecture development, partitioning of functionality among applications and components and application interfaces/interoperability concerns.
Experience of software development methodologies and structured approaches to system development.
Good experience in solutioning - Scoping, Estimation, RFP responses, etc
Good Project management skills - project planning, status tracking and reporting, people management, performance management, scope management and managing delivery quality
Contribution to practice growth such as participating in Client orals, competency and skills development initiatives, mentoring
Prior experience in Client interfacing and delivery while working with clients
Ability to manage multiple projects and initiatives and to take ownership for growth initiatives and tracking to completion
