Assist in the development and implementation of the company’s remuneration strategy so that the company’s associates’ reward, compensation and benefits programs are aligned with the organization’s goals and objectives.
Specific ownership of Job evaluation and reward data for the ALJ Automotive division
* Ownership and functional expert for Job grading/sizing (Levels, Grades & Bands) and evaluation processes for ALJ Automotive (and other ALJ businesses as required)
* Working with the line manager, HRBP’s and documented information to conduct thorough job analysis and grading.(Currently ALJ use Mercer IPE for this activity)
* Coordination of all ALJ Automotive external (annual and adhoc) pay and benefits survey activity - this includes the running of internal and external surveys (3rd party and independent) to ascertain relevant and engaging reward propositions for our Associates.
* Ownership of the organisation structure and hierarchy for ALJ Automotive with support from the Reward Analyst.Assist in the implementation of the compensation processes of the respective businesses in the organization to align with the compensation and benefits program of the company through adherence to the approved salary structure policies and procedures.
* Development of a total rewards system/process that is internally equitable and competitive by evaluating jobs in terms of their relative contributions to the organization’s objectives and relative to the industry and local market.
* Facilitate Job Validation and Job Evaluation exercises to the different business units across the organization to determine position class and salary grade through job analysis
* Review and advise on Job Descriptions for the new or upgraded positions as confirmed by the business based on the approved Organization structure
