1. Treat all co-workers, customers, and vendors with dignity and respect.
2. Directs and monitors the operations of his/her area of responsibility.
3. Assists in the hiring, orientation, training, development and discipline of department personnel.
4. Supervises and directs the efforts of personnel in his/her area of responsibility.
5. Attends, contributes and participates in departmental meetings.
6. Implements policies and procedures of operation in his/her area of responsibility.
7. Makes recommendations concerning orders for tread rubber and materials.
8. Ensures that department records are maintained in an accurate and complete manner.
Retread Plant Supervisor
9. Ensures that equipment and vehicles are properly maintained.
10. Monitors shop operations to ensure safety.
11. Monitors plant productivity and ensures productivity and efficiency in accordance with
prescribed standards.
12. Participates in hands-on operations as needed.
13. Ensures that the operation is in compliance with all safety practices and regulations (e.g.
OSHA).
14. Ensures that work stations are cleaned after each shift.
