The work content is both commercial and technically orientated and reporting to KSA Country Manager. The Sales Engineer has responsibility in handling for a project technically and commercially from receipt of the clients inquiry through to acceptance of the finished plant and release of last payment. The above is expected to get educated on the product range, and enhance his application skills in a short period of time. This shall be achieved through a process of self learning, company training and market exposure. Provides support mainly on sales and application; Assessing customer requirements, generating inquiries, coordinating with applications department for selection of systems...etc. Sales and Marketing responsibilities remain essential in this position. Intensive local travel within KSA will be a requirement of the role. Position Responsibilities 1. Performs basic technical and commercial review of clients enquiry 2. Collects necessary information for system calculation and design 3. Prepares quotes for spares in coordination with spares department. 4. Assists in gathering information related to product applications, technical assistance, pricing strategies and competitive information to field sales 5. Shares information on product changes in equipment or use of materials which would result in cost reduction or more efficient operation 6. Participates in meetings or direct communications with customers or field sales offices to assist in resolution of problems or complaints. 7. Assists in preparing and distributing literature, pricing information, technical data and promotional material to customers 8. Maintains a teamwork philosophy with other departments to facilitate problem solving and provide good customer service 9. Performs other related duties as assigned or requested
