1. Monitoring and Updating Wiki/Website
o Manage website content and working with designer/agency to update as needed
o Integrate social media with website and mobile technologies
o Optimization of traffic to website and social media platforms
o Periodically monitor Wikipedia Arabic/English and update accordingly
o Periodically update information and co-ordinate with all relevant departments
2. Responsible for Social Media
o Establishing social media objectives and implementing CCD objectives
o Monitor the social web, any official/unofficial pages, blogs, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, etc
o Use of social media monitoring software for influencer identification, competitive analysis, and marketplace insights to support strategic recommendations
o Monitor online trends and suggest opportunities
o Assist with budget planning and help plan “next year’s” budget
o Develop and publish (share with staff) internal strategies for social media projects and technologies in addition to promoting social media activities internally
o Engage in social media activities/forums, YouTube, StumbleUpon, Delicious Digg, Reddit, Flickr, Forums, Twitter, Wikis, blogs, video sharing, online chats with approval from senior management
o Implement an effective social media function (Guideline and Policies)
o Recommend new social media tools, sites, and applications as part of the social media mix
o Coordinate online media outreach and viral campaigns with approval from senior management
o Identify key/targeted bloggers by industry and solution area
3. Oversee contracts and relationships with third party vendors, when needed
4. Develop Reports
o Track and monitor the success of online initiatives (ie. impressions, reach and influence) and provide reports for directors and executives
o Identify and report on digital/social media trends on PR
o Identify marketing leaders and bench mark work
5. Projects
o Creation of the “Social Media Manual”
o Measure Return on Investment (ROI) of social media
