This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced, Arabic speaking Planning Engineer to join this expanding Real estate development group in Jeddah.
Reporting to the Procurement manager you will oversee the material planning activities including control, sourcing, cycle count and master data definition.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
►Ensure that the planning and control policies and procedures and practices comply with company policies
►Develop, implement and evaluate planning and control objectives and aligns them with the Project Management & Operations department objectives and budget.
►Monitor the creation of master data; this includes the evaluation and definition of new items and suppliers.
►Ensure the availability of proper planning rules
►Ensure that all planning & agreements are complied with the planning rules
►Ensure that the quality received is in compliance with the shipment terms and conditions.
►Review stock control records and information from the system as per project phases & requirements, such as consumption rates, characteristics of items in storage, and current market conditions, to determine stock supply and need for replenishment.
►Monitor the receiving process; ensure that the receiving control function is organizing the receiving activities and managing any delays in supplier shipment.
