The purpose of the Maintenance Team Lead is to ensure that maintenance is executed on the plant in a manner that will bench mark the reliability and availability of our plant to the best in Company. Ensuring maximum plant uptime by leading and directing the maintenance team. Responsible for proper installation, maintenance, and controls the power supply and distribution network, electromechanical equipment, electronic devices, facility services, industrial safety equipment, HVAC systems; Controls the spare parts and tools stores; Participates in the safety/health/environment program of the company.
PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITES:
- Plans, administers and coordinates all Preventive and Corrective maintenance programs for the Plant and the facility services in the site such as air compressors, boilers, reverse osmosis water treatment, water deionizers, and industrial water heaters.
- Ensures smooth running of the Plant, keeping in pace with the production schedule to chalk out various maintenance jobs during turn around to minimize downtime.
- Advises and coordinate regarding service, maintenance and repair requirements of the Plant
- Responsible for the maintenance and calibration of industrial safety features of the factory including the gas detection shutdown control system, fire alarms, fire pumps, etc.
- Receives, issues, and controls the spare parts and tools stores; advises the Manufacturing Manager of needed parts and tools within appropriate lead-times.
- Maintains, and controls HVAC systems such as packaged and centralized systems and ventilation system.
- Performs assigned tasks in the safety/health/environment program in the organization.
- Maintains good housekeeping standards in the factory and in his workplace.
- Observes good safety and health standards such as equipment isolation, lockout / tag out, using required PPE, etc.
