1. Responsible for achieving sales plan targets and maximizing contribution for assigned accounts.
2. Achieve agreed sales volumes for CRISTAL products, and attain agreed or higher selling prices.
3. Develops and implement Account Plans in line with Marketing and Sales Direction
4. Develops new prospects and interacts with existing customers to increase sales
5. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures
6. Develops a network of relationships with customers and the company.
7. Assists with preparation of sales presentations, contracts and proposals subject to review by supervisor.
8. Communicates with customers and internal support groups and accepts mentoring from Sales management and more senior Sales Representatives.
9. Develops understanding of products and applications and their value to our customers.
10. Meets personal sales targets as established within the sales territory or geography.
11. May work jointly with a more senior representative as a shipping point representative on larger, more complex accounts.
12. Begins to understand linkages between business functions and sales.
13. Learns the company's vision, mission, and values.
14. Begins to anticipate/differentiate what customer needs during negotiation process vs. what customer asks for during negotiation. Demonstrates a basic understanding of how to negotiate.
15. Understands the questions to be asked, who to ask, and how to ask them. Begins to look for value trades during negotiation process.
16. Develops understanding of customer's decision-making process and key decision makers and gatekeepers.
17. Requires significant guidance from sales management and minimal independent decision making.
18. Demonstrates problem solving concepts using conceptual, analytical, critical
and creative thinking; identifies patterns or connections between situations; identifies alternatives and effective solutions.
