Job Responsibilities
In addition to the following Employment Consultant responsibilities, the Senior Employment Consultant would be expected to support the Business Manager to organize team priorities, resolve minor HR issues within the team and provide advice, guidance and leadership to all staff within the office.
1. Perform job readiness screening and assessment to job seekers. Refer job seekers to appropriate case management tiers and program components.
2. Provide case management services to a caseload of assigned job seekers. Coordinate all project services provided to a job seeker.
3. Create job seeker’s action plan, implement the plan, and monitor/assess/revise plan to achieve successful outcomes.
4. Provide employment counseling and job leads to job seekers to ensure job placement.
5. Ensure all data is entered into our WorkQWEST case management system completely, accurately, and timely.
6. Research, interpret, and explain policies governing eligibility, legal rights, and responsibilities to job seekers, with the assistance of our internal Quality team.
7. Arrange for assessments or specialized diagnostic services, as needed.
8. Interact and support with other team members to provide expertise and assistance in resolving job seeker issues.
9. Provide support to ensure stability in employment and perform ongoing retention activities for employed participants.
10. Provide excellent customer service to employers and job seekers.
11. Work schedule as established by supervisor to accommodate business hours and project services.
12. You may be required to facilitate group sessions for job seekers (supported by our internal Training team).
Perform other duties as may be assigned by management.
