OBJECTIVES:
# Builds business by locating, developing, defining, negotiating and closing business opportunities
Interacts with stakeholders to identify needs and develop solutions.
# Identifies trendsetter ideas by researching industry and related events, publications, announcements and tracking individual contributors and their accomplishments.
# Generates and promulgates creative ideas.
# Locates or proposes potential business opportunities by contacting potential partners, discovering and exploring possibilities.
# Develops potential business opportunities by analyzing market trends, investigating user requirements, assessing the advantages and disadvantages, identifying stakeholders, evaluating options and defining exactly how the opportunity will work.
# Produces a risk register for each new opportunity.
# Produces a fully costed business plan for each new opportunity.
# Investigates how the new business opportunity will sit with existing business.
# Administers each opportunity in accordance with agreed procedures.
# Uses appropriate financial regulations and controls for each opportunity.
