Position: Head of Investor Relations
Summary: A unique and rare opportunity to establish and lead a world class investor relations offering at one of the largest companies in The Middle East.
The Role
Saudi Electricity Company has identified a significant opportunity and scope for the Company to enhance both its profile and understanding amongst domestic, regional and international analysts and investors through adopting a more pro-active and dynamic approach to its communications with both debt and equity capital markets.
The Company is consequently now searching for an exceptional candidate to lead the investor relations function at a very senior level.
The newly appointed Head of IR’s overridingrole will be to develop and support a world class IR programme; one that is recognised by analysts and investors alike as being a leading proponent of IR in the Gulf. This Head of IR will work closely with the separate PR division to ensure consistent messages are delivered to stakeholders.
This Head of IR role is an exciting and unique opportunity for an experienced and senior level IR professional looking for a fresh challenge in a high profile role at one of Saudi Arabia’s largest companies.
Specific objectives
• To put in place a world class investor relations capability, working according to a defined strategy and calendar
• To educate international financial audiences about the Company, including the strength of its corporate strategy and management
• To create the basis for sustained enhancement of the Company’s investor (and other stakeholders’) relationships, through a programme of regular communication to maintain and strengthen the Company’s profile
• To establish the Company as a leader in investor relations amongst companies from KSA and the wider region
• To undertake all communications in line with international best practice and relevant market regulation
• To co-ordinate internal processes to ensure effective communications with external audiences
