Our client is a leading Insurance company with a very strong reputation across the region.



We are looking for an experienced Sales and Marketing Director to be based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.



OVERVIEW OF ROLE



You will be the face of the company within the market, and will be responsible for achieving profitable sales through:

• Comprehensive relationship management

• The development, marketing and delivery of winning propositions

• Driving an overall service excellence ethic across the entire business

You will lead a team responsible for managing our three distribution channels - brokers, affinity partners and direct corporate clients - and will ensure there is a strong pipeline of the right sort of business flowing in to our underwriting team all times. You will take overall ownership of the entire customer relationship experience and, as such, will collaborate with the other members of the leadership team to address any issues experienced and drive further cross-functional improvements to maximize our performance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES



• The primary responsibility is to deliver profitable top line sales to meet or exceed the company targets.

• Establish the necessary sales and marketing strategy to achieve these targets

• Gain buy-in to the sales and marketing strategy by engaging with the company executives, intermediary and/ or client executives and internal market influencers.

• Influence related internal and external business strategies to ensure alignment

• Drive internal delivery against the strategy within the sales and marketing team through:

• Leading and motivating the sales and marketing leaders and the wider functional community

• Building strong internal capability to achieve the required standards of excellence in sales and marketing performance now and in the future

• Ensuring effective management of systems for sales pipeline, account and bid management along with the legal and regulatory compliance

• Establishing clear accountability for delivery and appropriate metrics to manage performance

• Taking decisive action to address any non-performance against the plan

• Ensuring collaboration with other functional teams in the company and the regional teams within the wider Company Group

• Instill a strong service excellence approach within the overall organization

• Identify and develop talent in the function, supporting personal and professional development and, where appropriate, facilitating their deployment to other parts of the Group to further their personal development.

• Support and lead where required, the implementation of group initiatives across the sales community.



COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS



• Should be used as a guide only and will reflect experience levels and interview performance

• Salary as a guide up to 55k SAR per month / $175k USD per annum total salary package

• Plus annual bonus
