• Internal Interfacing:
1. ENGINEERING DIRECTOR - Timely issuance of IFC Drawings
2. PROJECT COST CONTROLLER - Project Budget Control
3. FINANCE & ADMINISTRATION MANAGER - Progress Claim
4. PROCUREMENT MANAGER - Constant coordination with respect to timely delivery of procured items for Project.
5. QUALITY ASSURANCE AND HEALTH, SAFETY & ENVIRONMENT MANAGER - Quality Control & Site Safety
II) Key PRIMARY & SECONDARY Tasks/Responsibilities:
Your Primary tasks and responsibilities as Project Manager in the Company’s Projects Department will cover the following:
• The following tasks and responsibilities outlined below are applicable to your position
1. Coordination with Owner Representative, Owner’s Engineer and other agencies involved in this project on all matters pertaining to the project at site level
2. Overall planning for the execution of the works, in conjunction with all APS’s functional departments, supported by the Site Project Management Team
3. Ensure that the project Document Control system is fully established, functioning satisfactorily and maintained accordingly. This would include the system for the handling and resolving of the “Engineering/Technical Queries”.
4. Ensure all works are executed in accordance with the Project Quality Plan, Occupational Safety & Health Plan and Project Specifications
5. Ensure an efficient system is established for the review and approval of Subcontractors’ and Vendors’ documentation (drawings, calculations, procedures, etc.), in conjunction with the Engineering Department.
6. Ensure the Project is implemented within Project Budget and Project Schedule.
7. Ensure that the project Pre-commissioning and Commissioning Plans are established and approved by Owner / Owner’s Engineer in a timely manner.
8. Ensure the Operation and Maintenance Manuals are prepared within the time-frame stipulated in the contract, as well as the User Training Plan.
9. To review and ensure effective and optimum utilization of all major resources, including materials, manpower and construction plant
10. To provide up-to-date and comprehensive progress reporting on the project (Weekly Reports, Monthly Reports, etc.) to the CEO.
11. To carry out periodic review of the Project Quality Plan and authorize its revision, amendments, etc. as and when required.
12. Ensure all preventive and/or corrective actions are carried out in full accordance with the approved remedial action plan, in addition to ensure that all Non-Conformance Reports are closed in a satisfactory and timely manner.
13. Monitor and supervise the preparation of the Monthly Progress Claim and its timely submission.
